This leading international 1st tier contractor with an excellent track record for delivering landmark projects now requires an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to head the contracts department for their new healthcare division.
Based in Abu Dhabi and reporting to the Group Commercial Manager for the Middle East, you will have full departmental and project commercial responsibilities. You will be responsible for negotiating the head contracts of new major hospital and healthcare projects, overseeing the letting of sub-contracts and managing these contracts through their construction. You’ll be supported by a qualified international commercial team, both on site and in the regional office.
To qualify for this position, you will be tertiary qualified with the relevant degree with at least 15 years experience involved with major building projects, with several of those years involved with major hospital and healthcare projects. You will have extensive experience of various forms of contracts including FIDIC, NEC, JCT etc gained from working for an international 1st tier contractor. You will be an astute negotiator coupled with the ability to manage multi-national teams with excellent delegation and communication skills.
