Due to the ongoing vision to establish Abu Dhabi as one of the leading tourist destinations in the Middle East, this exclusive developer is looking for talented Senior Development Managers with extensive hotel experience to join its international development team.
Based in Abu Dhabi and reporting to the Development Director for hospitality, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of new 5 star hotel projects where you will involved from the initial concept stage through to the handover to the project delivery team. You will work in close liaison with the other departments including design, commercial and delivery as well as external consultants which will include some of the world’s leading & fashionable architects and hotel operators. You will supported by a team of multi-national Development Managers.
To qualify for a position, you will be degree qualified with the relevant degree in architecture, urban planning or building, you will have at least 18 years experience gained from working for a DEVELOPER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMPANY or HOTEL OPERATOR. You will have extensive client-side 5 star hotel development experience, where you were involved in all the stages of the projects inception. You will have previously worked with international architects, consultants, and the leading 5 star hotel operators. You will be a confident team leader with the ability to communicate at all levels, delegate and manage multiple projects at various stages of development. Experience of working in the Middle East is essential for this position.
