Our client, a national contractor is looking to employ a Senior Project Manager with a background managing fast track roll out / fit out / refurbishment projects.
The role is both pre and post contract starting from managing framework customers, liaising with consultants, architects, PQS practices etc... Through concurrent management of approx 4-5 live sites before ensuring complete client satisfaction at handover.
The successful candidate will currently be employed as a Project / Contracts Manager or equivalent position and ideally come into their management position from a trade background and have a proven track record of successful delivery on similar projects. They must be I.T. literate, be able to programme using MS Project and also use other MS packages proficiently.
They will also need to possess good man management and client facing skills and embrace working within and leading a team. The individual must be flexible and able to work on own initiative whilst reporting into an Operational figure head.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certificates are preferable albeit not an absolute necessity. The role will involve managing all of the site teams, visiting the projects, attending client meetings and generally supporting the sites.
The successful candidate will be expected to visit the London based offices once a week, but can work from home as well.
