As the rebuild of Christchurch continues to find momentum so the need for specialists in the civil sector continues to be apparent. One of the largest civil contractors in New Zealand is currently searching for committed and professional workers to join their team as part of the Christchurch recovery programme.

As a market leader they hold their employees in high regard and offers excellent working conditions and the opportunity to develop their career. In their search for the best people they have gone beyond the boundaries of New Zealand and have found them from all over the world; a policy they continue today.

As a company they specialise in most forms of civil engineering working in a number of sectors including earthworks, structures, piling, water, maintenance and utilities. Many of these sectors will be part of the rebuild but the focus at the moment is on water, specifically dewatering projects.

This is a specialist area of work around the earthquake zone and so experience must include;

  • A minimum of 8 years site based experience
  • Solid experience of dewatering projects including wells, spears & pumps
  • Good man management experience
  • A good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in

If this is a description of you then we want to hear form you. Successful applicants will receive a good salary as part of a very competitive package and outstanding career prospects and development. If the opportunity to be part of the team that rebuilds New Zealand's 3rd largest city appeals to you then get in touch today. There are positions available in the New Year but recruitment will continue well into 2012 so send me an up to date and detailed copy of your CV and I'll be back in touch very quickly.
