Our client a leading International Contractor is looking to recruit a QHSE Manager to oversee our clients overall QHSE division.
The successful candidates will have the following responsibilties and experience. Ensures that the Quality, Health & Safety and Environment measures spelled out in our clients Quality Manual are understood, accepted and implemented continually.
You will have University Degree, within construction engineering, occupational safety or a related field of study. You will also have an International background, with extensive experience as a QHSE Manager in a construction industry within a GCC country. Experience in developing and implementing Company Quality, Health & Safety and Environment (QHSE) Policy. Provides functional support to all Projects QHSE Department and as well as central organization.
Main Duties &Responsibilities: Computer skills required:
Co-ordinates QHSE objectives, monitors their implementation, reports to CEO and to the relevant entities.Introduces Management Systems and also organizes and supervises adequate QHSE training / awareness to the staff. Generate strategic plans and conducts internal audit.Review, update and control, the distribution of the Company quality manual.
Ensures that all contractual / company and local authority requirements for HSE are complied with. Knowledge of Microsoft Office –MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint and MSOutlook Excellent in English (and French will be an advantage)
