Design Manager / Bid Manager - Construction - Birmingham

A national construction contractor working on various general build projects.
The Role
As Design Manager you will be dividing your time between providing pre-construction design management solutions as well as bid management.
The projects will include a mix of general build schemes most specifically working on Leisure / Hotels, Student Accommodation, Multi-Storey Residential and Extra Care Housing.
Requirements
To be considered for this Design Manager post you must meet the following criteria:
-Previous experience in the role of a Design Manager / Co-ordinator with an employment history with a Main Contractor.
-Previous experience working on projects within the following sectors Education, Health, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, Student Accommodation, Multi-Storey Residential or Extra Care housing. (Please note this employer does not operate in the private housing sector and as a result will not consider candidates with this experience alone.
-Project experience specifically on Pre-construction / tender stage is essential.
-Additional experience within Bid Management would be ideal.
-Experience on projects values £3m - £30M.
-A relevant industry qualification.
-Excellent Written & Communication skills
Remuneration
The successful Design Manager will receive:
-Up to £60,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience)
-Company car or Car Allowance

-Pension
