Senior Civil Engineer (Marine) - Surrey - £35,000 - £40,000+
My client, a leading, global environmental and engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for technical expertise is currently seeking a Senior Civil Marine Engineer to be based on projects in the maritime and energy sectors.
The successful candidate will have detailed consultative experience of marine engineering, ideally in an international setting. You will be highly technical in some or all of the following areas: container / bulk terminals, RoRo & Cruise terminals, marine outfalls and harbours and marinas.
You should also be capable of overseeing design, project management and will be qualified to MEng level and, ideally Chartered.
Software experience: (ideally) WALLOP, STAAD-Pro, PLAXIS
The Senior Civil Engineer (Marine) will be responsible for the design/ overseeing the design and day to day managements of:
*Breakwaters and revetments
*Quay structures
*Jetties
*Dredging and reclamation
*Marina infrastructure
You will also be responsible for leading a team of professionals as well as liaising with clients; compiling tenders and developing new business.
