Our Client is on of the UKs leading Civil Engineering Contractors.
Working across Water, Rail, Tunelling, Airports and Environmental sectors they are experiencing great success with a multitude of long term blue chip clients. The majority of their work is on long term frameworks.
They are looking for aBusiness Development Manager. This is a very Senior Role within the company. You will be part of the Senior Management team and will be responsible for winning business within the companies largest operating business, the Southern Region.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Business Development Manager working for a main contractor in the Infrastructure or Civil Engineering sector. The company has a large workload in the Water and Rail sectors and was also heavily involved in the Olympics. They have an existing client base within the region in the Energy, Waste, Airports and Local Authority sectors. They are looking to grow the business organically by targeting further opportunities off existing clients and also gaining new clients. The company is selective about who it works for and the contracts that it prices. The company has a strong set of values and differntiates itself on the basis of the quality of its workmanship and also its ability to deliver the work to the highest standards of Safety and Environmental performance. For this reason it has an excellent reputation within its areas of operation.
