Senior Mineral Surveyor, Doncaster based, £40-45k+car, bonus, pension.
An experienced Mineral Surveyor is required by a leading mining company to join their estates and development team out of Doncaster.
The position involves the responsibility for identifying, acquiring and developing mineral projects through planning and the licencing process, whilst effectively liaising with the necessary landowners, local councillors and regulatory bodies.
You will oversee environmental management work and working with the planning team to prepare environmental impact assessmentsand planning applications as appropriate.
As a senior member of the development and estates team, you will offer support to the company in terms of policy and mentor junior surveyors and planners as required.
The preferred candidate will come from a mining/minerals background and ideally hold relevant qualifications such as an HND or degree in mineral surveying or estate management and be a chartered surveyor.
You will need to be fully IT literate, an excellent communicator and hold a full driving licence as travel to current and future sites/developments will be necessary.
