My client is a leading independent utilities infrastructure organisation, providing technical engineering, design, project management, consultancy and audit services across gas and multi-utility connections.
The range of projects that they are involved with are all over the UK this giving them a wider scope to work with.
My client is looking for a Commercial Director to lead a team based in Sheffield. They are looking for someone who has been in a similar role within Civil/Utilities or Construction to hit the ground running with the projects they have. The team you will be leading is a range of Quantity Surveyors, Estimators and Contract Managers. You will have experience within contractor facing, provide leadership and governance support to the business.
You will be based in the Sheffield office and go on visits to projects that you are running.
You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying.
The position is an interim role with the look to go permanent within 3-6 months. My client is looking to start ASAP.
