Lead Quantity Surveyor
$130,000 - $160,000 (neg) + super

About the Role: As a Lead Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to possess knowledge and skills attained during your previous work experience within the building construction / consultancy and/or civil engineering industry as a Senior / Lead Quantity Surveyor or Associate level. You will be leading a highly skilled and trained commercial team to help spearhead prestigious resource projects in Perth. If you are seeking added variety and more of a challenge to your Quantity Surveying career then we would like to hear from you. For this particular role the salary is negotiable at $150,000 (neg) for the right candidate.
Requirements: Candidates will ideally be tertiary qualified with the relevant qualifications (MRICS / AIQS). The successful applicant will be extremely motivated and be someone who wants to work with the best. Good communication skills in English and to be eligible to work in Australia are essential criteria. Our client needs enthusiastic, organized, confident and inspired individuals who enjoy developing, communicating and sharing ideas. Any previous experience working for a Tier 1 consultancy will be an advantage but not essential.
In addition to this our client has also requested the successful candidate to have the following experience:
10 years minimum experience
Demonstrable experience of negotiating commercial aspects of construction contracts and commercial operations
Demonstrable experience in Commercial Contract Administration & Estimating, particularly infrastructure projects
Knowledgeable of ‘Value Management’ concepts and application to large scale infrastructure projects
Report writing and facilitation skills
