Due to a successful 2011 and 2012 looking to follow suit, my client Is looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer. Currently they don't carry out this particular function in-house but owing to positive clear visibility of workload they have taken the decision to appoint a Senior Engineer internally. You will be reporting to the Contracts Director on day to day activities, liaising with Main Contractors and Clients across the UK on New Build Commercial, Industrial & Retail Projects.
Due to the fact that this is a new role with little internal support, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have a strong demonstrable track record in the Steel Fabrication and/or Structural Steel industry.
You will be a qualified and experienced structural engineer with a specific and obvious bias towards structural steel projects and have had previous working knowledge of the Tekla X-Steel design package.
My client specialises in the manufacture and erection of structural steelwork and cladding systems in both the private and public sectors.
£35,000 - £40,000 base salary, dependant on experience.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
