This is an opportunity for an experienced highways maintenance manager to play a key role in developing the shape of the highways service in Suffolk from 2013 onwards.
With extensive experience of managing highways maintenance services and relevant forms of contract, you will play a key role in the appointment of a private sector provider of highways services.
Following award of the new contract, you will be part of the county council's central client team. You will take the lead role in managing the highways maintenance elements of the contract, using your detailed knowledge of the service and commercial awareness.
