An opportunity has arisen to join a leading civil engineering contractor as a CIVIL ENGINEERING ESTIMATOR working from their offices in Cambridgeshire. Our client is working on a wide range of projects for highways, drainage, groundwork's, rivers, coastal and other types of projects. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success and possess the motivation to continue developing their career. Measure and production of BoQ in accordance with the tenders Method of Measurement. Preparation and management of the tender sub-contract supply chain requirements. Preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide variety of civil engineering works in accordance with the company's procedures, targets and objectives. Preparation and presentation of tender bid to Directors for tender assessment and settlement. Attending pre and post tender meetings with Clients Project Team Preparation of tender information. Minimum two years estimating experience working in a variety of civil engineering sectors such as infrastructure, highway works, partnering and framework contracts, waste and renewable energy sectors. Experience and knowledge of working with different forms of Contract. Experienced and technically competent in the use of Microsoft Office software packages. Experience with Conquest estimating system and Asta Powerproject desirable.
