My client is one of the worlds leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies. They have worked on some of the largest projects in the world and continue to be successful in winning new ventures.
Due to an increase in current workload and movements within the organisation they are looking for a highly experience Engineering Geologist to join them at Associate Director level and lead project teams in the UK on a variety of projects.
Role:
The day to day responsibilities of the Associate Director (Engineering Geologist) includes:
*Management of the Geotechnical Engineering team in the local office
*Overseeing, organisation and managing project teams on a range of Geotechnical projects
*Liaising with contractor and clients
*Reviewing technical papers and design checking from other teams
*Delivering geotechnical design
Requirements:
To be considered for the role of Associate Director the following requirements must be met:
* A BSc or Geology or B.Eng. in Engineering Geology supplemented by an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology
* Chartered Geologist (C.Geol)
* Extensive experience in Geotechnical design (retaining walls, foundations, earthworks etc)
* Extensive experience in project and team management and strong business development skills.
