Senior Project Engineer – Major RC Works to 60m in value
The client that we represent is a dominant and major force in UK Re-enforced concrete works contracting. The Group have reached the pinnacle of major works engineering and are now widely recognised as the most significant and capable organisation is this specialist sector of engineering.
The Group have a number of significant and high profile projects pending. The typical value of these works are packages of Major RC works and associated civils works from 20m to 100m. Due to the size and scale of these projects undertaken the roles and responsibilities of a Project Engineer need to be broadly understood.
As a project engineer working on a major project within the ranges of values as demonstrated you would be responsible for a segment of works, have a team of engineers reporting to you, you would have strong design face interfacing capabilities, you would assist in or chair client meetings, you would ensure quality of works deliverable and safety of works carried out. The role in essence is all embracing and more demanding than that of a PM on a Project up to 15m in value.
Therefore the role of Project Engineer on these projects would suit either a PM with a career in RC Works and Associated works or it would suit a mature and well versed project engineer that has worked on major projects of this kind.
