Primary Objectives
Overall responsibility for the day to day management and delivery of the operational compliance programme for designate sites and areas
Deputise for the Regional Compliance Manager
Implement agreed strategic Business Plan and all operational policies, processes and procedures
Developing programmes for regional delivery
Main Tasks and Key Area of Work
Monitoring, evaluating and managing the programme of allocated Regional Compliance activity
Manage all operational functions needed to deliver programme e.g.: Regional team, H&S and supply chain
Action regular team meetings
Deputise for Regional Compliance Manager as required at meetings or operationally
Provide technical support to Regional operational teams
Undertake regular auditing of Supply Chain Partners
Manage operational cost codes against agreed budgets
Maintaining and building of effective working relationships with supply chain
Living IIF culture and encouraging supply chain to adopt IIF (safety culture)
Travel throughout the region

Health and Safety
Environmental Management
As agreed in the Business Plan (including measurement of non-compliance, audits etc):
Delivery of the above to agree timescales and budgets
Client satisfaction
Supply chain delivery and satisfaction
Essential Skills / Qualifications
A Electrical or Mechanical Building Services qualification is essential for this role
Ability to lead and work effectively with multi-disciplined teams
Good operational and time management skills
Good communicator in all forms i.e. verbal, written, IT
Scope of Authority
Delegated authority to an agreed budget
Current driving licence
The Northern area covers from the Humber across to Lancashire and up to the Scottish borders, however this is a national contract and the building manager may be asked provide cover in other areas if required.
