A site manager with experience of social housing refurbishment is required for due to the award of a new contract, the client is a leading contractor in this field.
The works comprise of roofline, internal refurbishment, and small scale cut and carve in existing properties. The successful candidate will need to have gained general building experience within a main contractor setting in addition to having relevant sector and project experience. The site manager will work closely with the trades on site, secondly with the external client so previous client-facing experience is essential.
It is also essential that the successful candidate has a current and clean UK driving license, 5 day SMSTS, 3 day first aid certificate, PASMA, scaffold inspection and asbestos awareness are desirable qualifications
The company is financially strong and stable concern with a national presence, although this position will be based on the Lancashire region. They deal with both planned and reactive maintenance for many of the leading housing associations; this contract is for the planned maintenance division, and forms part of a much larger strategy. The company has a vast experience within this expanding market, and is seeking to further strengthen its team with an experienced site manager.
