Principal Transport Planner - Birmingham

My client is a specialist Transportation consultancy consultancy with a strong UK presence. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced, dynamic Transport Planner to help continue their impressive growth.
The ideal Principal Transport Planner will have a relevant Engineering background, will be Chartered, and will have considerable experience working in Transport Planning. You should have considerable experience working on Private Sector schemes, will have vast experience leading projects and teams, and will have previous experience working in the business development area.
The Principal Transport Planner will see themselves playing a leading role in producing Transportation solutions on a range of Private Sector development projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
*Technical input into a range of Transport studies
*Managing projects, including their financial aspects
*Client liaison
*Managing a team and mentoring Graduates
*Identifying business opportunities and assisting in Business Development tasks
