A main contractor is in need of a Quantity Surveyor to take control of procurement on a £14m educational project in Manchester. Candidates should have a background working with top 20 main construction contractors and have a good current knowledge of the North West sub-contractor base. The scheme is partway through and requires a professional, personable and astute surveyor who works well as part of a team. The role will report to the Project QS will be based on site.
This is a freelance position. paying up to £22 an hour and will be for approx 45-50 hours per week. Applications are invited immediately from immediately available candidates with a current CSCS card.
