A reputable utility organisation, with sites across the South East, is looking to hire two Health and Safety Executives to join their site teams on 1 year contracts.
Reporting directly in to the Safety Team Leader, the successful applicant will be a key player in promoting and demonstrating high standards in the site safety practices, enhancing and developing compliance with company and site policies and procedures.
You will implement various safety strategies, policies and procedures where appropriate in order to develop a quantitative and measured system of safety performance.
You will also be reporting on inspections and actions required, supporting audits and aiding the development of any further safety strategies required on site.
You will be NEBOSH qualified, with the ability to carry out various safety activities to time and quality requirements, and implement short term technical strategies.
You will have a strong understanding of relevant policies and processes on site, a good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation along with current policy and system requirements, as well as the ability to produce work schedules in a time pressured environment.
