A recognised civil engineering contractor is currently seeking a Project Engineer, to join their team on a project in the centre of London.
The Project Engineer will be required to work 2-3 days a week, possibly including weekend(s), on utility diversion works close by a major London rail station. The Project Engineer`s main task will be in the setting out of works, to enable subcontractors to complete works as to the drawings given. The Project Engineer will then be required to measure completed works as they progress, and record these with the assistance of the Site Supervisor.
To be considered for this role, it is essential the Project Engineer has extensive setting out experience, preferably within a company / contractor specialising in utility works. It is also important that the Project Engineer has proven experience of monitoring works as they progress, and display the ability to write reports on this.
