A Nationally regarded civil and structural engineering consultancy practice in Southampton is looking for an experienced Structural Steel CAD Technician. The company is experiencing significant growth within the UK and as such an exciting job opportunity has been created for a Structural Steel CAD Technician to make their mark on the industry.
Their portfolio of prestigious multi million pound projects are on behalf of numerous highend developers and their design expertise now extends throughout the UK. The role is principally to undertake and support the design of various structures on projects of different size and complexity. The contract is initially for a period of 3 months.
The candidate will be part of a busy department based in the heart of Southampton and will report directly into the Director. Previous experience of AutoCAD drawing production in a structural steel context is essential. The successful candidate is likely to have considerable relevant experience, including reinforced concrete and structural steelwork detailing, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
