The Estimator will price new scaffold works, submitting accurate and competitive bids:
• Reviewing and understanding tender documents;
• Building relationships and working closely with clients to ensure that their visions and expectations are met;
• Taking multiple projects from client inception and understanding through to tender submission;
• Working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop the best possible solutions and ensure a full understanding of the risk and financial implications;
• Completing and delivering bids in accordance with the requirements of the tender;
The successful applicant will be:
• Able to demonstrate prior experience of estimating in the scaffolding field;
• Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines on multiple schemes to meet tender return dates;
• Experienced in using software tools for estimating;
• Good IT skills;
• Good analytical skills combined with an ability to think laterally;
• Good attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: confident and able to present to a wide range of management levels;
• Driving licence.
The role is available on a permanent basis with an immediate start; salary will be competitive and based on experience levels.
