A design and build company based in Essex are looking for a commercial Workplace Interior Designer, with excellent surveying and CAD ability.
You’ll be required to travel to project sites within the UK both local to Essex and further afield, and conduct site surveys, including floor plans, ceilings, electrical and M&E.
This role will provide the opportunity to engage directly with clients, taking design briefs and generating presentations for which you'll need to be prepare sample boards, freehand sketches and visuals.
Following client signoff you’ll be responsible for generating complete construction drawing packages using CAD so you will need to be up to date with current UK Building Regulations.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this position as you’ll be required to manage up to 6 projects at a time and will need to liaise closely with other members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years workplace design experience as well as built examples of work in their portfolio.
Proficiency using AutoCAD and Vectorworks is esssential, Photoshop & Sketchup skills would be advantageous.
