Consultant with offices in the Leeds and Sheffield areas requires Bridge Engineers to join them on a permanent salaried basis.
In this these roles you wll be working at either Engineer or Senior Engineer levels and will be responsible for the delivery of both small and large bridge improvement projects, to time and budget. You will carry out assessments of existing structures in accordance with DMRB documentation and be involved with the preparation of reports such as AIP & TMOR.
Cadidates should be graduates and for the Engineer level role, those who are preparing for Chartered Review will be at an advantage. For the Senior grade you will be expected to have already acheived chartered status.
You will ideally have some exp of Structural Analysis software such as SuperStress and Sam Leap, along with knowledge of how to use AutoCAD. You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in the Highways & Transport sector and / or motorways & trunk road management including a minimum of 3 years working on bridge design projects, to include bridge assessment and design in accordance with the Highway's Agency's standards DMRB and MCHW.
Salary negotiable on exact exp level from £25k up to £45k + benefits.
