Estimator Job - £35k - £45K + Benefits - Berkshire
Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong working knowledge of the social housing maintenance and refurbishment market?
Due to recent growth in this market sector the business is looking to strengthen their preconstruction team and recruit a dynamic Estimator into their established team.
You'll be reporting into the Senior Estimator and be expected to have knowledge and be able to undertake the following duties:
*Understand and interpret contract provisions
*Understand and interpret work descriptions
*Prepare monthly applications, reconciliation reports and final accounts
*Placing sub-contract orders
*Assessing subcontract valuations
*Assessing final accounts
*Estimating and 'taking-off' from drawings or speciation
*Daily us of NHF (National Housing Federation) Schedule of Rates
*Produce reports, tendering, cost schedules, valuations using Excel
