We have an urgent requirement for a Site Chemist for a UK leading ground engineering contractor based near Guildford. This award winning client are looking for candidates who have relevant site engineering and remediation design experience.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a consultancy or specialist contractor on large scale remediation projects. Within this role you will be involved in producing site desk studies, analysing site investigations, monitoring and sampling, formulating and designing conceptual models for remediation strategies, client liaison.
Typically you will be working on oil spill, contaminated soil and groundwater remediation projects. this role will involve travel to many UK locations.
It is essential that candidates have a first class academic background. Preferred subjects include Geology, Geoscience or Environmental Science. Ideal candidates will have an MSc in contaminated land or a relevant field.
