Full description: As Senior OR Principal Engineer, you will be the technical lead on projects as well as being the Project manager in charge and you will work closely with the Ports and Structures Manager. The role will be varied, exciting and challenging and will include all phases within maritime engineering including feasibility, planning, detailed design and rehabilitation, and coordination of works. Key Technical Responsibilities: o You will develop innovative design solutions within maritime structural engineering and also take a lead role in helping to further develop the structural design capabilities of other team members. o You will be responsible for carrying out designs as well proof checking work of others in your team. o Other aspects of the role will include leadership, line management as well as business development Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: o Civil or Structural Engineering Degree; o Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent. o Minimum 15 years’ professional experience within the ports and maritime sector o Extensive experience in port structural design engineering.
