An Exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join an established Contractor in the Essex / Hertfordshire Area.

This is a perfect time to join this expanding organisation as they have seen a real upturn in work over the last 6 months with more enquiries expected.
Due to the fact that there work is not limited to one specific sector your job role will be challenging, varied and extremely interesting.
Typical work activities will include but not limited to:
  Working with the Commercial Manager to estimate the type and amount of materials necessary to deliver the contract against the agreed specifications
  Estimating the cost of plant and equipment.
  Working with the construction team to help predict the timescales of a project, which has a considerable bearing on cost
  Establishing the likely progress and completion rates, including allowances for bad weather and other unforeseen circumstances
  Calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit and presenting a tender price.
  All quantity surveying duties, shadow, assist on take control of individual projects, this role will expand as the successful applicant progresses their experience and the organization grows.

Salary package circ £30-35k + Car or Allowance!
