Our client, a successful firm of building services consulting engineers now require a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their office in Bristol. You will ideally hold a relevant qualification and preferably be chartered with CIBSE or IMECHE. You must have gained previous experience with a Building Services consultancy at a senior level and you will be able to lead a team. You will need to be adaptable, self-motivated and a good communicator with lots of enthusiasm and you will need to be responsible for the design and delivery of a wide variety of Projects which will include universities, Colleges and Hospitals. You will develop and present project design proposals to clients and take part in internal discussions so that client requirements are met and prepared correctly ready for tender, specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and contract documentation. You will Issue in conjunction with the client, contract documentation to tender, adjudicate and recommend appropriate contractor to meet project requirements. You will Propose labour resource requirements, monitor time and disbursement spends, and take remedial action as appropriate on allocating the charges to the individual job to ensure that financial objectives are met and have a good understanding of the ISO9001 & 14001 process.
