Opportunity
As the successful Web developer, you will receive a competitive salary above market rate and an excellent benefits package including; salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and life cover. You will be responsible for creating new industry leading websites or taking their existing products to customers' mobile phones or tablets. You will be using the latest technologies and will be reporting directly to the Web Development Manager.
Responsibilities
"Working to perfection at each stage of the web development lifecycle, producing secure, scalable, high volume web applications to proactively helping resolve technical issues alongside the technical and business teams.
"constantly adapting and improving approaches to front end development and usability to ensure best possible functionality.
"Working to perfection at each stage of the web development lifecycle, from producing HTML templates, to proactively helping resolve technical issues. You will be Working closely with technical and business teams to do so.
Required
"Proven ability in Programming as well as System Analysis and Design, gained within a Web Development role.
"Commercial experience in PHP, HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS, MySQL, Photoshop or Fireworks
"Proven ability in releasing code to live production environments, with a particular emphasis on excellent code optimization and software design principles
"Experience, using project management tools, bug tracking systems ie CVS, Subversion, Mercurial
"Commercial experience working on Unix based systems as well as Apache
