A nationally recognised developer is currently seeking a Senior Engineer for a landmark rail based project in the south east of London.
The Senior Engineer, reporting to the Project Manager, will be responsible for the concrete package, valued at £15m. Along with the Site and Project Manager, the Senior Engineer will assist plan the scope of works, and see the project through to completion, ensuring all engineering aspects are undertaken to the necessary quality.
To be considered for this position, it is vital the Senior Engineer has a solid background in heavy civil engineering and concrete works, and must have a main contractor background, with experience of managing/supervising specialist subcontractors. It is preferable that some of this experience has been gained within a rail environment, again with a large, main contractor. An excellent knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is also required.
