Salary £30k - £40k plus car / car allowance, bonus, pension, healthcare
My client is a well-known organisation based in offices throughout the UK. Currently looking to recruit a Design Manager to join their busy team in Aberdeen.
Having recently won a number of significant projects, my client is now looking to recruit a competent Design Manager who can take responsibility for the overall project design management for both potential and secured projects.
In order to carry out this senior management position you will have extensive technical knowledge in both construction and design with a thorough understanding of the performance requirements desired by the client. You will have sufficient working knowledge and experience in order to offer design solutions and the construction and commercial implication of adopting these solutions. You will also have the confidence and management experience to evaluate and influence the design/ technical/ budgetary output to ensure acceptable proposals are developed.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant Architectural qualification to minimum HNC level with demonstrable experience working as Design Manager or within Architectural private practice and you will hold technical, commercial and contractual awareness, you will have the ability to make decisions quickly on both policy and strategy independently.
You will hold previous experience working in the healthcare and/or education sectors.
