This New Zealand owned civil contractor has worked throughout the North and South Island on some of the countries most challenging infrastructure developments over the years. The terrible events in Christchurch have resulted in a dramatic increase in their workload and a subsequent need for additional key personnel to join the team. Of particular need at this time is a civil estimator to work on a variety of new work. With a number of estimators already in place they are open to the level of the new addition and will happily look at a junior, intermediate or senior estimators joining the team. As such all of those with estimating experience in the civil/infrastructure field are encouraged to apply.
Experience can vary but must include specific industry experience in the civil or infrastructure disciplines such as highways, drainage, subdivision etc. With such a variety of projects ahead both those with experience of estimating multi million pound projects and those with experience on smaller projects/maintenance are equally encouraged to apply. The company is open to those from a QS or civil engineering background, appreciating that both types of experience can bring a lot to the position.
