Our client is the largest engineering consultant in New Zealand which allows them to secure involvement across a wide range of project types and scale. They have built a reputation for leading the way with groundbreaking solutions and many of New Zealand's iconic projects carry their mark.

Due to the recent events pertaining to the Christchurch earthquakes this rare and unique opportunity to join their growing team in Christchurch should be explored. In order to be considered for this position you will need to be a degree qualified Civil Engineer coupled with at least 5 years postgraduate geotechnical experience gained within a consulting environment.

Aside from your excellent technical skills you will need to display exceptional communication skills and be a commercially astute operator with the ability to identify further business opportunities and the confidence to secure it.

Furthermore you will be client focused with a natural ability to form and build lasting relationships and be ready to lend a hand in support of both more junior members of the team as well as colleagues across the different disciplines. Ideally you will be close to or already have obtained Chartered status.
