A nationally recognised civil engineering contractor is currently seeking a General Foreman, to join their existing team on a major tunnelling project in London.
The General Foreman will be involved with tunnelling, spray concrete lining and all associated works, on a major project. Foreman, along with members of their team, will liaise with their superiors, to ensure all work is carried out to design, and to the time and quality requirements as set.
For this position, it is essential the General Foreman has at least 5 years` experience in a similar engineering role, within a nationally recognised civil engineer or construction contractor. An excellent knowledge/experience of sprayed concrete lining is required, and it is preferable this experience has been gained within a rail environment. It is important a solid background in tunnelling is held, working on projects such as CTRL for example.
