In this role you will assist in the investigation of conditions at premises in connection with this Local Authority`s responsibilities under the Housing Act 2004 and allied legislation.
This will include matters to be assessed under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and the investigation of nuisance in connection to premises.
You will assist in the inspection of premises in connection with premises to include Houses In Multiple Occupation e.g. Bed and Breakfast accommodation for use by homeless persons as well as premises in single occupation.
Investigating drainage and other miscellaneous public health complaints emanating from residential premises. Managing less contentious casework. To aid in the investigation of nuisance complaints, including noise nuisance emanating from residential premises. Managing less contentious casework. Also assisting officers in delivering the service including under their duties and responsibilities. Assist in the monitoring of work in progress and in the preparation of survey reports, drawings and specifications of work.
