In this role you will assess which fixtures and fittings will need to be moved from this local authority`s school to decant the site. You will also need to assess which fixtures and fittings will need to be placed in storage during the decant. In addition, you will be required to arrange storage for decant period.
The instructing and overseeing the work of removal contractors will be required as well as arranging logistics and timing of decant.
Liaising and advising the school staff of their roles in preparation and process of decant.
Preparing information as required to go to parents/carers. In addition, you will assess whether additional closure days will be required to achieve the decant and return, and draft the paperwork to apply for this, working closely with the school.
Liaise with the appointed Employers` Agent throughout and with the Road Safety team as required.
You will need a track record of working with schools and on building projects with excellent communication skills.
