A talented and enthusiastic acoustic consultant is now needed to join a specialised acoustical team in the South Yorkshire region.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidate will preferably hold an IoA diploma and a BSc, MSc or BEng in a suitable subject area, and a minimum of 2 years experience working within the acoustic sector. Applicants with an understanding of current policy and legislation, experience with acoustic modelling, and full or associate IoA membership would have an advantage, and a full UK driving licence is essential to the role.
The role
The chosen candidate will be expected to provide expertise and suitable advice related to noise and vibration control, carry out field surveys and assessments, assist more senior team members, participate in projects completion, write reports, and liaise with clients.
Projects:
Projects typically involve the control of noise breakout, noise at work assessments, sound insulation testing, acoustical design, and general issues related to commercial and residential development.
