A small, busy Building Services consultancy based in the Berkshire area are currently recruiting for an intermediate or senior mechanical design engineer following a number of contract awards. This requirement is urgent, therefore my client immediately requires an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the practice as soon as possible. The work my client has secured mainly consists of luxury / high spec / high end residential builds.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will carry out design and contract supervision of projects including heating, ventilation, VRV/VRF, comfort cooling, and domestic hot and cold water systems. This will include the production of drawings for CAD work by others and specifications/schedules, tendering, site meetings and liaising with clients as well as site personnel.
Mechanical Design Engineer experience required:
* Minimum of 5 years relevant UK industry experience.
* Ideally hold a minimum qualification at HND level in mechanical engineering.
* Ideally experienced at designing solutions for mechanical services on high spec / luxury builds, ideally residential.
* Competent in all standard mechanical design software, CYMAP experience is desirable.
* Full UK drivers license and car owner
