One of my clients is looking to bring in a land surveyor with structural monitoring experience to join their growing Geomatics team. The job will be based in London but work may be throughout the UK.
The role will involve establishing automated and manually-read monitoring systems to work alongside monitering engineers. You will then have to document methodology and safe systems of work and lead the monitoring operations on site, including the computation and checking of results and delivery of quality controlled data and supporting documentation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have an attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Desirable skills include proficiency in StarNet, n4ce and AutoCAD software. A degree or equivilant qualification in land or engineering surveying would also be advantageous.
