Assistant Design Co-ordinator - Construction - Norfolk
The company
My client is a reputable main contractor with a full order book who covers a wide variety of general build projects from £1million to £30million typically.
Due to an further expansion, they are seeking a new Assistant Design Co-ordinator to add to an existing strong Design team to provide further support to the Senior Design Managers, incorporating both tender and live works.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a long standing business with a strong history whom pride themselves on loyalty and staff retention.
The Role
As design Co-ordinator you will be involved in the full Design co-ordination and management in pre-construction and live works environment incorporating value engineering and sustainable solutions e.g. BREEAM.
Required Skills
-Have previous experience as an Assistant / Design & Build Co-ordinator within a Main Contractor.
-Exposure to Tender or Live works
-Previously worked on general build projects (education, healthcare, leisure, industrial)
-Experience working on projects between £1million and £20million
Remuneration
The successful Design Co-ordinator will receive
-£20,000 - £30,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience)
