OLE Technician/Assistant Engineer - Manchester

I have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, hardworking Assistant Engineer/Technician with specific rail experience to join the Manchester office of a leading, international engineering consultancy and provide CAD and OLE knowledge to their busy rail team.
The ideal OLE Technician will be working towards, or already hold a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering and will have experience in producing CAD designs for OLE work including switch and crossing. You will be aware of relevant design standards, ideally accredited as a Network Rail OLE Technician, and will have a working knowledge of packages including Bentley Microstation. With excellent communication skills and experience working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be looking to develop your career within a progressive organisation.
Working within our client's busy rail team, your responsibilities will include:
*Production and checking of OLE drawings with other designers and engineers
*Hand calculations and spreadsheet work
*Generation and evaluation of OLE options
*Report writing and design analysis
