We are currently recruiting for a leading building services contractor based in Cambridge and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will be working as a number 2 to the Managing QS on projects across the East Anglia region. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will require a good understanding of the M&E building services sector.
Responsibilities:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for up to 2 projects at any one time with values averaging between 2-5 million on various sectors such as education, commercial, leisure and student accommodation. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will cover the whole of the East Anglia region with occasional sites visits outside of this area so must be prepared to travel.
Remuneration:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + benefits
Requirements:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will come from a M&E building services background and have experience of working on £multi-million projects..
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Background in M&E services contracting.
- Multi sector project experience including industrial, commercial & leisure.
- Educated to a high standard - Degree or HNC/D
- Full/clean driving licence
