We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Senior Quantity Surveyors with a background in heavy civil construction. The opportunities are based in Western Australia. Typically the role is called a Senior Contracts Administrator.
As a Senior Contracts Administrator you will have the following duties:
Prepare and issue tender package documentation;
Develop, implement and maintain cost accounting and project forecasting systems to prepare financial reports;
Develop, award and maintain contracts for the supply of key materials, equipment and labour associated with the operation of the project;
Manage the administration of all aspects of the head contract including progress claim and variation submission;
Provide support to project teams in the management and administration of subcontracts;
Assist in claim preparation, responses to subcontract claims and implementation of procedures;
Monitor and maintain the detailed construction program providing periodic updates to the Project Manager and Client.
Review critical technical and contractual documentation.
Assist in the development, award and maintenance of subcontracts associated with the project.
Assess head contract and sub-contractors variations and progress claims.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
A minimum of five years experience as a Contracts Administrator and demonstrable achievements within a tier one construction or engineering environment.
Relevant qualifications and strong career progression.
Meticulous and thorough approach to work.
A high degree of computer literacy with the ability to rapidly adapt to new software applications.
Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with managers, staff and key stakeholders.
Demonstrated contractual and commercial acumen.
