Senior Design Engineer - Birmingham - Civils/ Bridges
Company
A national construction contractor providing a full range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The Role
As Design Manager you will provide design management solutions on civil engineering projects, specifically Bridges.
You will be responsible for structural analysis, using CAD and software.
Interfacing with specialist rail disciplines.
Ensuring design compliance.
Producing design calculation, drawing reports.
Supporting in production of tenders.
Site surveys.
Requirements
To be considered for this Design Manager post you must meet the following criteria:
Civil Engineer
ICE/ISE status or willing to work towards
5+ years experience working as a Design Engineer for a consultancy or contractor
Experience of civil engineering design, preferably within the rail environment
Excellent communication skills
Willing to relocate / live in Birmingham inclusive of remuneration below with no assistance
Be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Remuneration
The successful Design Manager will receive:
Up to £40,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience)
