In this role you will as Planning Officer undertake this local authority`s responsibilities for the determination of planning applications and the enforcement of planning control under the Town and Country Planning Acts and related legislation.
You will contribute to the regeneration of the borough through the effective application of development control powers, the negotiation of planning obligations and partnership working with regeneration agencies within and outside the council.
In addition, you will contribute to the delivery of the spatial elements of the Community Plan through the effective application of development control powers in accordance with the council`s vision and values.
