My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Highways (Structures) Unit Manager to be based in Caernarfon, North Wales.
A dynamic Manager who is client focused with a commercial awareness would excel within this role. My client is looking for a proactive manager to kick-start and influence the team of around 30 people through supervision of projects. You will be working within the Highways (Structures) Unit working on various Trunk Roads and County Road projects successfully taking them from initiation to completion. Therefore proven experience and success in the project management of construction schemes will be essential.

The successful candidate will lead the structures biased teams and projects therefore some degree of demonstrable experience of highways structures would be of benefit. This experience can be form design, contracting or an asset management background.
The idea candidate will have proven commercial experience in either the private or public sector and excellent project management and organisation skills in order to influence and lead the team. The candidate is required to be chartered Ceng, MICE, MIStructE or MHIT. The client is ideally looking for someone who has local knowledge and understanding of the region however will accept suitable candidates who are willing to relocate and lean the basic Welsh language.
