Our client is an international engineering and safety solutions provider to the oil and gas industry worldwide.
Due to internal movements within the business, a job vacancy has arisen for an Estimator to join their Aberdeen operation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Sales Manager and another estimator to identify equipment required and the number of designers and engineers needed for each project. From this you will provide estimates for full scope of works. Estimates will for a variety of jobs and you will be expected to handle a high volume of requests for quotes. Most projects will be bespoke, requiring you to provide very specific estimates rather than generic or repeat projects. Moving forward, you will be involved in client interfacing. You will also be responsible for acquiring quotes from suppliers, focussing on product quality and delivery dates.
To be suitable for this role, you must have previous proven experience in an estimating role. Oil and gas experience is highly advantageous.
